To
create/find straight lines in the terrain has so far been both
difficult and expensive. LaserMaster is a very
accurate and cost effective system which assists you in marking/finding
borders/lines in the terrain in a very accurate way - no matter if you
are a forester determining "old" property borders, pipe laying, fence
building, power line construction, hunting, plantation in the
wine/fruit industry, "light-surveying" etc.
<b>LaserMaster</b> consists of a precision sighting compass
combined with an accurately calibrated laser which provides a laser dot
in the sighting line. In addition to this a course protractor is
included which provides the exact bearing from the map and a reflective
vest which in an effective way reflects the laser dot when marking the
borders/lines in broad day-light. <b>LaserMaster</b> is
used by two persons where the front person is using the reflective vest
and being guided/directed by the instrument user who is sighting the
direction with the LaserMaster. This way the front person can fully
concentrate on marking the line (or locate old border-line markings)
while he/she walks in a perfect direction while the back person
concentrates on guiding the front person by looking at the laser dot on
the reflective vest. The method is simple, accurate and very effective!
LaserMaster can of course also be used by one person who then sight in
the direction and then step by step walk to the point where the laser
dot is visible. LaserMaster works equally well in other applications
such as determining border-lines over open water, creating straight
lines for fruit-plantations, fence-builders where an accurate line

The SILVA Quarry Master is a new product especially designed for the borehole driller in Quarries. Preventing "Fly Rock" and controlling wastage are priorities for any quarry manager. This value for money instrument offers the driller precise measurement of borehole angles and immediate assessment of any inaccuracies. After the hole has been drilled, a small container with a torch, attached to a reflective tape, is lowered down. In this way the driller can immediately sight down the hole towards the torch and control that the borehole is drilled in the correct angle. An unique feature to the Quarry Master, is the scale of -90° (horizontal) to 0° (vertical down) to +90° (horizontal) i 1° increments. It enables the operator to make correct readings without any scale-conversions. The Quarry Master instrument features an aluminium protected sighting system for withstanding the tough conditions in quarries.
